Spin caloritronics is a research field dedicated to studying the interaction between spin and heat transport in solid-state systems. It investigates how temperature gradients can generate spin currents and how spin currents can influence thermal properties. This interdisciplinary area explores coupled transport phenomena, including the spin Seebeck and spin Peltier effects, aiming to understand the fundamental physics of spin-dependent thermal processes and develop novel devices for energy conversion, thermal management, and spintronic applications.
